Над альбомом работал дуэт композиторов: Лорн Бэлф (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed Revelations) и Руперт Грегсон-Уильямс (Любовь сквозь время, The Prisoner). На саундтрек попало 18 композиций общей длительностью около 60 минут. Подборка является компиляцией оригинальной музыки.
Сериал рассказывает о королеве Елизавете II с момента её свадьбы в 1947 году до настоящего времени.
